Welcome to Our Den...
Wild Rose Elementary School remains a small, community-oriented school for families living primarily in Grandin and Heritage Lakes. We generally have an enrollment of approximately 230 students in Kindergarten to Grade 4.
The school enrollment also includes a district site for special education: a Primary Learning Assistance Class for Grades 2-4. This class is made up of approximately 12 students and integration in various subject areas occurs. We are fortunate to also have before-and-after school daycare and afternoon care run by SIGIS, as well as a district preschool program at our school. All students at Wild Rose work to their full potential to achieve academic success.

Motto
Wellness, Respect, Success
Wild Rose School was built in 1978 and was named after the provincial emblem of Alberta. The staff of Wild Rose upholds this honour through our school motto: "Wellness, Respect, Success". It is by our teaching that students of the "wolf pack" learn and develop socially, emotionally, physically and academically. We believe it is the collective responsibility of all members of the"wolf pack" to help our "pups" learn and develop. Therefore, your support and involvement are encouraged and welcomed.
